JOFY Card

It was my friend's husbands birthday yesterday and I sent him this card

I used some of my new JOFY stamps coloured with pan pastels and distress markers and paper pieced from an old paper pad. I think the banner was a freebie in a magazine.

I hope he liked it!!!

The theme for the May Scrapology card was to use your stash up.

 I used one of the first stamps I bought which is by Embossing Arts and used Distress markers to colour it in aThe backgrond is corrugated card painted with Paper Artsy paint and the ribbon is very old by May Arts.


For June our Scrapology layout was a scraplift of one of Maria Featon's layout. This is her blog is here.

This is a photo of me at my Christening with my dad.

I used Madame Boutique papers by Kaisercraft and Prima roses.

The theme for the June card is English Country Garden and these are my offerings.

The first one was a card for my mother in law whose birthday is today!
I have use JOFY stamps, which I am really enjoying using, painted with distress stains and the sentiment is by Tim Holtz.
For my second card I used Paper Artsy paints. I painted Inky Pool  onto some card followed by PA crackle glaze and then a layout of Bora Bora. I used Grunge Paste(which is a brilliant medium by the way!!) through a Crafters Workshop stencil and then used JOFY stamps again painted with Blood Orange and Hey Pesto.
Finally I used a chicken wire stamp by Inkylicious. The sentiment is a Lin Brown Stamp also by Paper Artsy.

May Scrapology Layout

Today is the day the new layout challenge is posted at Scrapology and the challenge this month is hand stitching. The layout is a scraplift of Delaina Farr Burns and her blog can be found here.

Here is my layout

This is a layout of my son in the fist couple of months of his life. I breastfed him and he would sleep all day and feed all night! I love this photo of him asleep on a beanbag - brings back happy memories. The papers are by Sweetwater and the embellishments are Sweetwater, Chatterbox and Jenni Bowlin.

New Start

I have decided to set up a new blog in an attempt to blog more - just start again!!

I was toying with a new name because the last one was just too long!

I have recently had a break from the Scrapology design team and l
am looking forward to joining everyone again.  The next challenge goes live on 1st May so will post this months layout then.
